HP Wand - Inventory Label

After visiting the WB Studios Tour, I was really inspired to try my hand at a prop from the Harry Potter world. After discussing with a friend, she said how much she'd love a wand, and that if I attempted to make some, she'd happily take one off my hands! So here is the wand I made for her birthday.

It's a very simple construction, with sections of walnut drilled and pinned in sequence with sections of a much paler wood (ash?). These were then sanded to the required level, then finished with French Polish.

I then built the box, and made some labels for the wand maker, tweaking images found online, and making some from scratch.

The wand is of Walnut and Ash trim, with a Phoenix Feather core (Apparently Ollivander only uses three materials for the core).
